Before you write

How do I sign up for a course?

+
Write to us using the form below or contact our office: sign-up isn’t completed online. We need the participant’s personal details and the course and location, then we’ll help you find the right age group and time based on active groups. Payment is due by the end of the lesson cycle.

Do I need a medical certificate?

+
No. In Switzerland a medical certificate is not required for pool courses and Ondarte does not ask for one: no medical visit, no health documents. We only ask you to let us know of any health conditions the instructor should be aware of.

Is a swim cap required? What should I bring?

+
A swim cap is not required. What you need varies by pool and activity type, so we let you know at sign-up along with practical information about the location. In general a swimsuit, towel and pool sandals are enough; for the youngest children, a swim nappy.

How are the groups formed?

+
By age group, always: a baby of a few months and a four-year-old never end up in the same course. Groups stay small, so the instructor can calibrate pace and exercises to whoever is actually in the water. A spot stays reserved to one participant for the whole cycle.

Are the courses recognised by health insurers?

+
Ondarte is recognised by several health insurers. Reimbursement conditions are set by each individual health insurer: we recommend checking them with your own insurance. The courses recognised for reimbursement are Acquababy, Aquafit®/Acquagym, Acquantalgica and Swimming.

Some things are easier to sort out by talking.

Just two lines: who’s getting in the water, how old they are and what they’re looking for. We’ll point you to the course, location and time to start from.
