Frequently asked questions
What is baby massage?
+
Baby massage (or infant massage) is a gentle practice of touch and movement that the parent learns and applies to their child. It promotes relaxation, may ease colic and sleep difficulties, and strengthens the emotional bond. It is a complementary service, separate from the pool courses.
Where does it take place and how do I book?
+
Baby massage takes place on request at the Ponte Tresa and Mendrisio locations. There is no fixed schedule: sessions are arranged according to demand. To take part, fill in the form below or message us on WhatsApp with your child’s age and the location you prefer: we will get back to you with availability.
From what age can a baby have massage?
+
Infant massage can be introduced from the first weeks of life, choosing moments when the baby is calm and awake. It should not be done right after a feed, or if the baby is unwell or feverish. It is a gradual contact activity: you start with a few movements and build up as confidence grows. If in doubt, ask your paediatrician.
